On the fjord

Nice day...Ida saw a seal. At this time of the year we have Finnwhales in the Fjord every day.

End of a good day

Our guests arrived today. Sailed to kulusuk airport. Came back and had a delicius diner: greenlandic lamb.

Now it's time to go to bed.

Leisure

All the setlement is her playground....No cars...They organize all playing by themselves...

In the evening they are so tired...But they have enjoyed all the day....They feel free..

Three Sisters and a Glacier drawing back

Saturday we were in Tasiilaq Fjord. In the bottom of the fjord, there are some high peaks named The three Sisters. And we could see the glaciers were drawing back.

Soccer Champinions

Tonight our soccer team came home from Tasiilaq, 2 o'clock. We wake up because, we heard shooting from rifles

and fireworks.

I looked out of the window and saw many small boats hurry to the harbour...Men shooting up in the air.

Kuummiut's old boys team had become Eastgreenlandic champinions.....After the teams arrival there was a big party all the night long.

Our Boat

When we were in Denmark we bought a new boat. A Yamarin with a 100 hp Yamaha. It is necessary to have a boat. We have no roads between the citys...And when you have a boat it is possible to catch a lot of fish.

Kuummiut

It started raining at noon, but now we have a litle bit sunshine (17.15) My new boat is waiting for us in the harbour. Tomorrow we will find a good place and catch some fish.

Ida and her frinds were playing out in the rain....When they came home they got warm cocoa and saw a film on DVD.

Ammassalik Fjord

We have had windy and rainy days: but we went out in our new boat, and caught some cods.

Princess!!!

I think my youngest daughter wants to be a princess. She started practicing this evening.

A rough, but in a way a soft view from the airplane. This mountains are dominated by big peaks.

Back To Kuummiut

We flew from Reykjavik to Constable point, here we waited half an hour. Then we flew southwards to Kulusuk. Thes is a very beautiful and special trip. We follow the coastline and meet enourmus glaciers.

Hollydays
