Yacht in Kuummiut
Today an Icelandic yacht visited Kuummiut.
Her name: Aurora, registrated in Isafjordur, in Iceland.
Every summer vi have sailships on a short visit here in Kuummiut.

Football School in Kuummiut 2

Football is the most popular sport in Greenland.
And for the first time we have football school here in Kuummiut.
Nerly all children in Kuummiut was there.
There was a big crowd.

This is the land of contrasts....The beautiful landscape.....The old scrap!!!!. When the Americans left the place ( Ikateq ), The locals had fuel for many years. Engines were used for fishing vessels
Furnitures were brougth to the setlements Kuummiut and Sermiligaq.
In a piteraq the old aircrafthangar was destroied. The runaway is still intact and can bee used by small airplanes...
In the lake there are big trouts....Ida and my wife tried to catch some....They don't succide....
The trouts had,nt come back from the sea.
