The first ship in Tasiilaq 2010

One of the containers contains our furnitures...
Mary Arctica at the port of Tasiilaq .....
The old cannons which use to be fired at the first ship arrival to the city ... The last big ship from Denmark was here in late October 2009
Houses with nice views to the inlet and the port.....

I suppose supplies and commodities are easier to get there than in Kuummiut.

By the way, keep posting photos. They seem to come from another planet.

Dough...In this part of Greenland, there are no trees. Summer is too cold In order that trees can grow is the average temperature in summer exceed +10 C/50F. But in southern Greenland are small forests. Many are planted as experimental forests.
