It's Thursday...Helicopter from Tasiilaq bringing post and passengers to Kuummiut.....
The helicopter has light on in the dark weather.....

The school's containers will soon be completely covered by snow.......

Today at 1 pm. Just a little wind now...but it's still snowing.....
"Main Street" The grocery shop to the right, to the left some of the ware houses...

Not much daylight now....

A cold December day ....

My boat needed to be cleared of snow after this week's snowfall. Rowed out by midday .... The boat is still lying in a corner of the bay ... I will soon have to move the boat to a different place because of icing in the bay ...
The sun is low over the horizon.... comes just a little bit over the horizon at noon ... It was cold today -8C/17, 6F wind from the North West ....

food shop and candles workshop

Johanne worked in the food workshop..........
Absalon and thomasine have a carton of pasturised eggs .... A large part of the year, we do not have fresh eggs ... last ship from Denmark is usually in October, we will have next ship seven to eight months later ...

Candles workshop is always a great success, especially in this year where the grocery store only sells very expensive candles ......


Elise,Nugaaraq and Jonathan with some of the Christmas candles.....
The profits of the sale of the things, the children produce, is being used to buy things that the children would like to have at school .......
