On vacation ... Kummiut-Tasiilaq

Ida is waiting for the helicopter to fly us from Kuummiut to Tasiilaq.... We travel to Denmark on holiday every year in summer...

To dispel the waiting time we look for flowers ... The flowers are small but incredibly beautiful

Games day at school...

Still very busy days ... I haven't time to sail in my boat this week .... But now I'm writing again ...

The big icebergs are starting to get into Ammassalik Fjord .. They come from the north and will be sent with the flow south of Greenland .. Some of these icebergs find their way into our fjord ... Huge and many of them have very beautiful colors and shapes ...

In the background you can see one of the very large icebergs.....

In those days blowing a cold southerly wind into the fjord ... The land around Kuummiut is warmed by the sun, now shining 22 hours a day .. The air rises ... It leads to the cold air from Denmark Strait to be sucked into the inlet ... Right now it is good for fish and laundry :-)

When my boat was back in the water after I had filled new oil on the engine, I sailed a small trip on the fjord ... In the background the mountains called The Triplets ...

This week, every day, one of my photos were shown on TV KNR, Greenland's official television channel ...The picture was shown before the sending of advertising or if there was a pause in the broadcasts
