After Neqiaq

Yesterday I took these pictures on their way home from school ... The previous night we had had a heavy snowstorm (Neqiaq) .. On the morning the weather was better and we got sunshine...
This year, our snow removal equipment are OK... Now the snow is high along the few roads in the village.......In the background you can see we have no ice cover on the inlet...
Some houses are almost buried in snow.......

The road up to the community house.....

One of the many uninhabited houses........

The children eat too many chips and consumption of soft drinks is huge ....

Your photos are magnificent as always! I feel happy just to watch that white-and-colour scenery.

Say, do you have fruit and vegetables there in the market? With so few young people it seems easy to have their eating habits under control...

And the pupils, are they curious and motivated or are they indifferent and absent? I am so curious and fascinated about Greenland, a complete new world I'm discovering on the net, but I almost get only pictures and few reports of daily life. How many are there inuits and how many europeans? What are the tastes, how do you spend time in bad weather, what are the people's main dreams or projects - do they love the country and then they drink? Or do they hope to get away ? What kinds of confort do you miss?

I am making a 400-500 slide show of Greenland. It´s one of my best works of the kind.
